Hello, it's Susann here. Someone mentioned that I should keep a journal of some of the jobs I do around Wiltshire, so here is the first entry...
Another day, another boiler to service - this time, it's a relatively young Vaillant boiler in a lovely cottage in the village of Ditteridge.

The day began quite sunny and I arrived at the property in good time. This is a customer I've worked with many times before.
On this occasion, there was no central heating in the property.
The boiler is a Vaillant Eco Tec. I found an image of a similar one as an illustration -

I ran through various checks & soon realised that the connection between the boiler & its remote thermostat was not functioning. The wireless connection simply needed re-establishing, and my customer's home was soon getting toasty again... A simple enough fix, which is always welcome in the world of the boiler engineer!
After a cup of tea & a catch-up, it was time to head off to the next job. The only thing was that it was tipping down with rain & I was drenched before I even got to the car.
Thanks for reading :)
A day beginning sunny and quickly turning to rain? Definitely sounds like classic English weather.
